Amazingly beautiful ambience and tasteful interiors. Rooms were well lighted and nice comfy beds. The location is also super centre. Lake Bled is just 10 min straight walk. Very helpful and sweet staff. Highly recommend for family stay. Breakfast spread is also good with so many options.

Located right on the coast of Bled Lake, Hotel Starkl - Heritage & Unique is a small family-run property that provides unique views of the lake. This place is incredible. Our family of 4 (kids 4 & 9) booked a Junior suite and it was plenty of room for us. The hotel location is perfection. It’s right on the water. Right outside the front door are row boats to take you to the little island. the restaurant is exceptional - sit on their terrace that overlooks the lake. Breakfast was wonderful - something for everyone. and the whole hotel was CLEAN. I am a clean freak and like to stay in nice hotels - this place had it all. As others mentioned, the bathroom was small and not all that private but that would not deter us from coming here again. We can’t wait to come back. about booking.com - I submitted a price match request 2 weeks ago because the hotel website had a better price. I’ve since sent several follow up requests and they have yet to respond. So book directly with the hotel, if you can.

The location was perfect for exploring the beautiful nearby Bohinj lake (5 minute walk). Rooms are spacious and clean. The beds were very comfortable.

We were staying over the weekend, and during the weekend, breakfast was served more as a brunch, so there was a lot of different food to choose from (I personally liked the cakes very much). The location of the hotel is perfect, you're almost at the lake shore, and you can reach all the attractions on foot. The staff were very nice and helpful.

The first impression we had about this lovely country was at the boarders when we first met the land security officer she was a super nice and helpful lady. the general atmosphere of the place, the cozy rooms and the attention to details. the rooms were very clean, giving a feeling of comfort, warmth, and relaxation. The spectacular view of lake and the mountains from the balcony was great. This is one of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed! The cabin was so cozy and warm (in November when it was cool and raining outside). The tub on the deck overlooking the forest was amazing. There is also a sauna that you can book privately for an hour on the property. I'd love to come back!
